Korean people certainly are passionate. If there's one thing they are passionate about, it's protesting. They are about as hardcore as it gets. So, to counter that, Korean riot police are vicious. If there was a Riot Police Olymipcs, Korea would win all of the gold medals. Every riot is a pitched battle. Both sides always fight well.....rioters tend to use metal rods and bamboo sticks to fight. Police use their shields as their primary weapon...they never seem to use rubber bullets.
Well...check out some brutal handywork of Korean riot squads. They are referred to as combat police.
