Of course, being a CDI teacher, I had to work on New Year's Day, but it was easier to stomach than when I had to work on Christmas day the previous week. That one was rough...truely sucked. Might as well celebrate my last Christmas in Korea by being forced to work by my employer!!! Weeeeeeee...
The Hermit Kings played at Interplay on New Year's Eve. Mai and I went up ther with Tom and Amity. The lub was insane. So poorly organize on the part of the management. They were understaffed, leading to long waits for drinks. The Burning Softy Pandas played first and rang in the new year. We got up about 12:30am and kicked it. The drum kit was quite sweet so I was pleased...aside from the smoke machine located directly infront of the drums that was chocking me to death.
Weird moment of the night....I bumped into a Kiwi guy who was in my Tae Kwon Do class in 2002 way up north in Ilsan. It was random and strange...cool as well.
