How to Save the Environment...some easy steps!

Well, the Pusan International Film Festival has wrapped up and apparently it was a big success. It was nice to see a big infusion of people and money into the local area. At least now, the "artsy-fartsy" set will be leaving town and I'll be able to get a seat outside the local Starbucks. recently there have been so many visitors in my neighborhood because of the film festival that some of my favorite lunch-time haunts have been packed.

A unified Korea. Well, this is what you can see if you look at the map I have hanging in my classroom. I didn't notice it until this week whe a student pointed it out to me. Korea is one country and Seoul is the capital. I bet Kim Jong-il has a different copy hanging in his office! (sorry about the blur factor).

Ok...I had some extra time the other day so I asked my students (lower level) to come up with ways to make Korea more beautiful! Here are a few of their ideas.

How Can We Make Korea More Beautiful???

1. Take a means of public transportation.

2. don't smoking

3. don't drink soju.

4. cigarette is put the garbage can.

5. when brush your teeth, don't open the city water.

6. when use your pencil, don't use that, put garbage can.

7. we don't lots of shampoo.

8. we walk short street.

9. don't spit

10. don't throw soju bottle in ocean and beach.

This is he advice of some of the wisest minds Busan has to offer! Follow these 10 easy steps and you can help contribute to a cleaner and more beautiful Korea.
