Tacos, Blunch and Sexy Event Bars!
Had some great tacos this afternoon with Mai. It seems to be becoming a Sunday ritual. We head to Busan's only Mexican restaurant (as far as I know) for kick-ass fresh tacos. Taco ElPuebla is located in Haeundae, behind SFUNZ.
When you feel like it's a slow evening and there's just nothing to do....go to the Sexy Event Bar...not just any Sexy Event Bar...go to the HIGH CLASS Sexy Event Bar. This one is close to Kyungsan and Pukyoung Universites!
It's BLUNCH TIME!!!! I'll take the Spageti??!!
I finally finished my first Ironman week at CDI. It was the first week of Ironman teaching. Week one of our Winter intensive classes are finished, but it's going to be a very long month though. The paycheck at the end of the month will make it worthwhile though.
We played at Ol'55 last night. It started off as a slow night, but the crew from Haeundae rolled in and the party kicked off. It was Liz's last night in Korea...bye bye Liz! It was also Jake's birthday. We (the Hermit Kings) played a set that was more than 2 hours long...everyone was dancing infront of the stage so we just didn't want to stop. I had no time to even drink last night. We just played and then took off back home.

It's 2007
It's a new year and I've started it by drastically increasing my workload. I must think only of $$$$$ in order to get me through the grueling month ahead of me as well. So, it's the new year and Korea being a very superstitious cultutre, is celebrating the Year of the Boar (or in Korea, Pig). It's not just any pig though; this year is the year of the Golden Pig. In Korean culture, the golden pig represents MONEY! Because of this, many superstitious folks (most here) believe that babies born in 2007 will be blessed with a healthy financial future. Anyone who has spent some time in Korea will know that money truely and absolutely makes the peninsula go around, so, Korean the government is predicting a sharp spike in the birth rate this year. Funny as that my sound, superstitions controling a nation's birthrate, it's a fact in Korea.
